Takee has been with the SEED School of Maryland since 2022. She began at SEED as the External Opportunities Coordinator before assuming her role as the Director of Admissions. She is a former high school English teacher with Baltimore City Public Schools and has also taught and worked in K-12 education in various roles, including her role as a Family and Engagement Coordinator and College and Career Advisor. Additionally, she has worked in postsecondary education as a Student Success Specialist and Program Coordinator at Baltimore City Community College. Takee has over 15 years combined experience in classroom instruction, research, and program administration. Takee possesses various training and certifications in college and career readiness, pedagogical strategies, and delivering and scoring Advanced Placement curriculum and assessments.
Ms. Jobe is a Baltimore city native and graduated from Western High School, an all-girls public high school. She obtained her first Bachelor’s degree from Howard University as a Communications major. Next, she obtained a second Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Baltimore and then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Teaching from Coppin State University. Takee believes in Baltimore and knows first-hand that our city’s youth are talented, powerful, and deserve to be invested in. She values the many opportunities that the SEED School of Maryland provides and takes great joy in helping families live, learn, and grow.
